Overview

The Guest Experience Lead plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations. This position will have a focus on both the retail gift shop and admissions areas and is responsible for overseeing retail inventory processes, coordinating product orders, assisting with admissions duties, and supporting team members to ensure exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about both operations and customer service while following Flyover standards and operating procedures.

What is the compensation for this role?

The wage for this role is $18.50 hourly and a full breakdown of perks and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.

What will you do in this job?

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for team member questions, issues, or escalations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new and existing team members in both retail and admissions areas.
  • Support the Admissions and Retail team by selling tickets, ringing products in, answering guest questions, and assisting during peak times.
  • Oversee receiving and unpacking of stock; ensure accurate inventory input and product setup in RetailPro.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels; perform regular stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Build and maintain positive vendor relationships in alignment with brand and budget goals.
  • Help ensure that the admissions and retail areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary materials.
  • Be a proficient user of Ventrata & RetailPro to ensure all transactions (groups, resellers/vouchers, tickets) are processed efficiently and accurately ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Model exemplary guest experience and coach team members in delivering a positive experience by ensuring Flyover Las Vegas operating procedures and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in the tourism/hospitality industry.
  • Experience in Front of House, ticketing, and retail ensuring a safe place for our team members and guests, while providing incredible service and driving sales.
  • Previous team leadership experience is an asset.
  • Must be comfortable and engaging when speaking in front of groups.
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Extensive knowledge about Las Vegas and the local area is an asset.
  • Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time, indoors and outdoors, year-round.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be comfortable with physical tasks such as receiving deliveries, moving inventory, and restocking.
