We are looking for a creative and driven Video Content Creator/Editor to lead the creation of video asset’s, content library and social presence for Flyover Attractions. This role will drive brand awareness through strategic and engaging video content for our advertising campaigns and owned digital channels.  

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, the ideal candidate will be part of a team of functional experts supporting the overarching brand strategy and four unique geographies – Reyjkavik, Iceland, Vancouver, Canada, Chicago and Las Vegas, USA.

The wage for this role is $60K - $70K annual

What will you do in this job?

• Edit brand video assets to fit a variety of digital and traditional placements including varied lengths and specifications
• Shoot, edit, and enhance video short/medium format content projects to support social media strategy execution
• Develop annual content plans and execution model leveraging internal teams, external partners and influencers where needed
• Work with social media team to ensure consistent and strategic daily posting on social media channels
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform social content strategy adjustments
• Attend Flyover launches and events to capture digital content for use in comms and marketing campaigns
• Work with Flyover geography teams to understand local initiatives, source content and align on shared goals
• Organize and maintain content library of raw and edited video files
• Support the entertainment technology and production team in a variety of editing tasks, including closed captioning, on-site content cut-downs, etc.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

Ideal Experience

• Experience overseeing content production from concept to editing to final product on a small scale
• 2+ years of experience in creating social media content, ideally within tourism/hospitality/attractions (agency or in-house)

• Strong skills working with Smartphone. + DSLR / Cinema cameras creating social content

• Strong video editing skills with experience using social video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, etc.

• Proficiency in social media management, project management and scheduling tools
• Experience with color grading and motion graphics considered an asset

• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box while adhering to brand guidelines
