As a Ticket/Retail guide, your goal is to facilitate the fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction. As a guide you will wear multiple hats working at the Box Office, Retail shop, greeting, and as a photographer. You will have engaging interactions with our guests by bringing your best and anticipating guests’ needs while following Flyover standards and operating procedures. The Guest Experience Guides should always strive to maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guests and team members.

This wage for this position is $18 per hour, and a full breakdown of benefits and perks will be provided during the interview process.

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors, duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
• Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests in terms of experience, price, restrictions, and content.  
• Editing photos of guests while being knowledgeable about photo packages and backgrounds.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Encourage strategic upsells, as appropriate at Point of Sale.
• Ensuring all facility safety precautions are met and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns.
• Lead by example to ensure Flyover operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.
• Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol.
• Assist with evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures in the event of an emergency.
• Share knowledge with guests about Navy Pier, Chicago, and other tourist attractions around the venue.

• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and Holidays
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Solid knowledge base about Chicago and local area
• Preferred experience in the tourism/hospitality industry 
• Cash handling and Point of Sale experience 
• Experience with Public Speaking
• Fluency in a language in addition to English is an asset
